This site is operated by ECOMLAB LIMITED (New Zealand). In this policy, "we" and "us" mean ECOMLAB LIMITED.

| Disclaimer acceptance | The name you typed, the date and time, and your browser's user-agent string and country, kept as evidence of acceptance. |
| Technical logs | Our hosting provider records ordinary request data (IP address, time, page) for security and reliability. |
We do not collect your date of birth, address, phone number, employment history or any identity document. We do not run advertising or analytics trackers.
We monitor and record what is done on this site and in this app. That includes the pages opened, the searches and filters used, the advertisements opened, items shortlisted, the calculator being used, and the ordinary technical record of each request: IP address, approximate location derived from it, browser and device string, and the time.
We do this for two purposes and no others:
| Security | To detect and investigate misuse, abuse, scraping of this site, attempts to take over an account, and to be able to reconstruct what happened if something goes wrong. |
| Improvement | To see which features are used and which are not, so that effort goes where it is worth going. Guessing this has been wrong before. |
We do not record keystrokes or mouse movements, we do not use third-party advertising or analytics trackers, and we do not sell, rent or share activity records with anybody. Activity records are held for 180 days and then deleted. Request logs are held for 30 days. Security and audit events are held for a year.
The legal basis for this is your agreement, given when you accepted the terms, and our legitimate interest in running the site securely. You can ask what is held about you and ask for it to be deleted — see Your rights below. Deleting your account removes your activity records with it.
We do not sell your information. We do not share it with employers, recruiters or advertisers. We do not use it to profile you for advertising. Applying for a job on Seek is something you do on Seek — we never submit anything on your behalf.

The job ads shown on this site are published by third parties on Seek. They may contain personal information about a recruiter or contact person that those parties chose to publish. We do not add to it, and we remove ads when they stop being advertised.
Account data is kept while your account exists. Sessions expire after 30 days. Sign-in codes are deleted on use or within ten minutes. If you ask us to delete your account, we delete your email, shortlist and sessions; we retain the disclaimer acceptance record, because its purpose is to evidence that you accepted the terms.
Under the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020 you may ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account. Email us and we will action it. If you are in Australia, the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) equivalents apply; if you are in the EU or UK, your GDPR rights apply.
Sign-in codes and session tokens are stored only as salted hashes. There are no passwords to steal. Traffic is encrypted in transit. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
If this policy changes materially we will show the new version on this page and, where it matters, ask you to accept it again.
