This site collects job advertisements published by other people on Seek and shows them alongside details — pay, roster, work model, conditions, bonuses, employer type — that are worked out automatically by software reading the words of each ad.
It is provided for information, general overview and entertainment purposes only. It is a tool for comparing advertisements. It is not a job board, not an employment agency, not a recruiter, and not a labour-hire business.
It is a starting point for your own research, and nothing more. It is not advice, not a recommendation, and not a suggestion that you do anything at all — not apply, not train, not spend money, not move, not resign. It gathers some of what has been published, never all of it, and some of what it gathers will turn out to be irrelevant to you, out of date, or wrong. What is missing from this site is not evidence that it does not exist.

No human checks the ads or the details worked out from them. The information may be wrong, incomplete, misread, out of date, or matched to the wrong employer. Ads may have been filled, withdrawn or changed since they were collected. Pay figures are often estimates worked out for comparison, not offers, and many ads give no pay at all.
Before you apply for, rely on, act on, or make any decision about any role shown here, open the original advertisement and confirm the details with the advertiser or employer. If this site and the original ad disagree, the original ad is correct. Treat everything here as a pointer to an ad, not as a statement of the terms of any job.

Any calculator on this site — including the earnings and tax calculator — is an estimate produced by arithmetic, nothing more. It is not financial advice, not tax advice, not accounting advice and not career advice. No accountant, tax agent or adviser has looked at your situation, because nobody here knows anything about it.
It ignores your individual circumstances. It takes no account of deductions, work expenses, tax offsets and rebates, salary sacrifice or packaging, zone and remote-area rebates, LAFHA, fringe benefits, private health insurance rebate or the Medicare levy surcharge, dependants, a spouse's income, other income, capital gains, prior-year losses, part-year employment, the low-income Medicare reduction, or anything else that makes a real tax return different from a sum.
It ignores your real pay too. Employers structure FIFO pay in ways a calculator cannot see: overtime and penalty rates, bonuses, camp and travel allowances, casual loading, unpaid travel days, whether your roster is really the roster advertised, and what the contract says. Treat the output as a rough comparison between two offers, not as a forecast of your bank balance.
Tax rates, thresholds and rules change, and some figures are approximations that are labelled as such where they appear. Confirm everything with a registered tax agent before you make any decision, and confirm the pay with the employer in writing. To the maximum extent permitted by law, no liability is accepted for any loss or damage arising from the use of any calculator or estimate on this site.
We monitor and record activity on this site and in this app — the pages you open, the searches and filters you use, the advertisements you open, the things you shortlist, and the ordinary technical details of each request such as your IP address, approximate location, browser and the time. We do this for security, so that we can see what happened if something goes wrong or is misused, and for improvement, so that we can tell which parts of this are actually worth having.
What we do not do: we do not record your keystrokes or your mouse movements, we do not use third-party advertising or analytics trackers, and we do not sell or share this with anybody. Activity records are deleted after 180 days. The Privacy policy sets out the detail.
By using this site you agree to that monitoring. If you would rather not be recorded, do not use the site.
This site is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Seek, or to any employer, recruiter, agency or mining company named on it. All names and trade marks belong to their owners and are used only to identify who advertised a listing.
